The Shanghai French Concession aka Xin tian di (New Heaven)
was developed by Hong Kong property development company
less than 20 years ago.
It is the most expensive area to live for super rich locals
and senior ex pats in Shanghai.
Price for some apartment here are
more expensive than ones in NYC and London.
There are lots of antique book shops, Cafes and Restaurants.
When in Shanghai, it is one of the must visit places
where locals love to show off.
