Livorno is the gateway port
for Tuscany.
It was one of the ship's tour offered
when in Livorno we took.
'San Gimignano & Siena'
While most of other passengers have chosen
tours to ever popular Florence and Pisa,
we decided to take this tour
as Greg has not been to these medieval towns before.
For me, it has been 20 years since I was here last time.
"One photo can tell more than thousands of words to describe"
Siena is one of those places that
words are just simply not good enough!
Piazza del Campo.
It reminds me of two movies shot at here.
'Under the Tuscan Sun' with Diane Lane
and
'Mission Impossible' with Tom Cruise.
I am sure there would be lot more than that!
I am getting better at selfie...^^;
Cathedral of Siena, Piazza del Duomo
Stunning beauty, inside and out.
Row of cafes and restaurants
at Piazza del Campo
where we were given one hour
of free time.
We had authentic Italian Cappuccino
in one of those cafes while enjoying
beautiful Spring sunshine
and people watching.
What could we ask more!
Landmark in Tuscany, Cyprus trees on hills.
