After leaving Siena,
we are on our way to have lunch
at a farm house
before San Gimignano.
Staff are as nice as this lovely farm house
and its surrounding scenery.
Needless to say about
authentic Tuscan Anti Pasto.
Local red wine was particularly good.
It was surprisingly Chianti.
Assorted pickles, especially garlic bread are so good.
Local cheese with local honey is
fantastic combination.
The wine shop in the farm house
After the generous Tuscan hospitality,
our tour bus is on the road to San Gimignano.
The entrance to town centre
A grotto at the entrance of town
over looking the beautiful scenery.
The alley way to the top of the hill
is full of interesting deli, souvenir shops
and ceramic stores.
Piazza in town centre
Long line in front of the shop
turned our heads when we reached to
town centre.
A sign says
The World's best Galato.
Sweet tooth Greg and Martha waited for a while
in the line to try gelato.
It was worth it!
They are absolutely right about the sign.
It was so delicious!!!
It was rather easy to walk down the hill.
The scenery from the top of the town
is so lovely especially under the Tuscan sun. ^^
