It took an overnight to reach
the haven for the world's
rich and famous,
Monte Carlo, Monaco
since we left Livorno, Italy yesterday.
Orange is my favourite colour and
this car stopped in front of us as
we were getting off the cruise ship.
Guess they are shooting photos for
some kind of brochure
with our ship as a background.
Last time when in Monte Carlo,
we took a ship's tour to
French Riviera,
medieval town of Eze
and Nice instead,
so I kind of missed this city.
Today, we took HoHo bus and
went around the small city,
twice. ^^;;
GrandPrix?
Not today!
We were going to get off the bus
here and look inside the palace
if it wasn't raining heavily all of a sudden.
Petite garden at Casino Square
where we got off the bus.
Hmmmm.
Fashionista tourists...!?
In front of the Casino Square
The entrance of the Casino
Not only parked cars in front of the Casino
but also most of cars driving
around this small square were
latest luxury sport cars for showing off.
Ferrai, Lamborghini, Porche, Audi, Mercedes...
It was quite a scene to watch
part of life for the rich and famous...^^
THE Hotel in Monte Carlo.
Hote de Paris!
Magnificent looking hotel lobby
It was raining again when
we wanted to sit at THE cafe.
Cafe de Paris!
Most of tables were not available due to heavy rain. :(
After more than half an hour waiting patiently,
we were very happy to manage to get a table.
Sharyn from Sydney and
Martha from Boston joined us today.
S'il vous plaît...
We are ready to order!
Sante! Cheers!
Enjoying a glass of local wine.
We got the great spot for
sport car and people watching for a while.
They came with a bit of price but
it was worth every cent for the location...^^
Soon after we sat at the cafe,
sun came out.
How wonderful!
People arriving in their cars
to have lunch at the famous
Japanese restaurant Nobu.
Beautiful coast line of French Riviera at Mediterranean.
A selfie with our cruise ship taken
in front of the Casino.
I decided to walk back to the ship
alongside the marina with fabulous looking
luxurious yachts
while the others took the bus back.
