We love port cities that
a cruise ship can dock
right in the centre.
Lisbon is one of them.
There were Hop On Hop Off buses
waiting for cruise passengers
right across the road at the terminal.
How handy!
Lisbon is my virgin visit this time
and there is nothing better than
taking full advantage of riding a HOHO bus first
before I would go anywhere and do anything.
Sailing in is always exciting!
Especially when it is not in pitch black early morning!
The Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square)
Praça do Marquês de Pombal (The Marquess of Pombal)
The Campo Pequeno is a Bull fighting arena
Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries)
Torre de Belem (Belem Tower)
Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Jeronimos Monastery)
a cafe at the waterfront where
we had the most delicious Portuguese tarts and
espresso near Cais do Sodré

We didn't bring any caps with us as it was overcast
when we left the ship in the morning.
Who knew the weather would be changed to fine sunny day!
We had quite bad sun burn on our faces after
riding HOHO bus for more than 4 hours.
No compaint, though! ^^;;
