Vancouver, Canada Apr25

It was very nice to see a land after 7 days of cruising.
Rain greeted us in the morning but it became fine after lunch time.
Lucky with weather again! :-)
I was waiting on our balcony for the ship's anouncement that the ship is cleared to get off.
It is one of the nicest passenger terminal we have seen so far!

World's famous RCMP(Royal Canadian Mounted Police) shop.


Nice modern buildings facing beautiful harbour near the passenger terminal.


Light airplanes would come in handy in Vancouver harbour with many islands?

We are on Hop on hop off bus in this pretty city

We saw Marcia and Jules walking down the street of Gas Town!

Stanley park restaurant was closed but these beautiful tulips are all open for ealy Spring in Canada!


Winter Olympic games here in Vancouver was over few months ago but souvenir shop is still selling items we wanted.

Steam Clock in Gas Town is one of famous tourist attraction!

We bumped into bunch of Aussies when we were looking for Canadian Totem Poles in Stanley park!
Saxophonist and Clarinetist young lady Amber and Black Tie(Brothers Con and Nick and their wives Celist Sue and pianist Valerie) performed in our crusie ship.
They left the ship in the morning and due to fly home in Australia tonight.
Oh, yes!
Finally, we have found them!
I have seen photos of these Totem Poles when I was a little kid!

It was my first visit to Canada and loved this city.
We shall be back.

Greg and Heo's Farewell Party Apr23

As the cruise is coming to end, we decided to throw farewell party in our suite!
All our table mates and a group of people went with us for the African safari and other friends came to celebrate!

Maurice from Guernsey Channel Islands would like us to visit his summer house near Lyon, France oneday.

They are not only nice but smart.
They are our table mates as well as ship's daily trivia team and they contribute most of correct answers.
Our team won the Grand Final Trivia!

Sky is disembarking in Seattle where he used to work and live but happy to go back to his home in Massachusetts.

That was really nice we got all together.

Last Formal Apr22 'Fairytale Ball'

Sadly, this will be the very last formal night and the ball.
Cruise director Bruce and cruise activity staff Brock are all dressed up for the Fairytale Ball.
Bruce named Brock 'Samuel Pan' a cousin of Peter Pan.
Brock wasn't impressed with his name 'Sam Pan'
Lovely Joy is beautifully dressed for the night.
However, she was given a name called Samonella instead of Cinderella and cleaning bathroom.
But, still smiling~~
She already knew she would find the shoe?

Claude is from Prince Edwards Island in Nova Scotia.
