Malacca city (Melaka in Malay), Malaysia
is located in 150km south east of
nation's capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Historic Malacca city is listed on
UNESCO world heritage site since 2008.
Passengers are transferred
by a local boat
as it is a tender port.
The boat was much larger than
the ship's tender boat
and open air with a roof.
People on boat enjoyed
the see breeze.
We were then moved by a shuttle bus
to the shopping mall in the city centre.
It was a walkable distance but
no one would walk in this
extremely humid and hot day.
There are so many of these rickshaws
colourfully decorated for tourists
as we approached to the historic part of the city centre
Jonker street was full of people incl. tourists
as there are so many shops and restaurants.
Six other fellow passengers joined us
for very tasty local lunch.
