Laem Chabang, Thailand Mar14

Laem Chabang is a Thai port for Bangkok (or Pattaya).
Since we have been to Bangkok so many times, we decided to go to Pattaya.
Pattaya is actually much closer from Laem Chabang than it is to Bangkok.

 Assorted street food.
Look yummy but my stomach may not agree with them. hh

Jomtien beach is about 20 minutes from bustling Pattaya by Tuk Tuk

Best thing to do on Jomtien beach is to relax and drink

Ko Kood, Thailand 24Mar14

It can not get better than this!

Another Seabourn Special Event!
"Caviar in the Surf"

Our ship anchored on secluded beach in island near
Thai and Cambodian border, Ko Kood.
There were no one but passengers and crew.

When we tendered to the shore, they already set up
tables and chairs for whole passengers of 420.
Lobster tails and steaks are on BBQ and
full buffet table is prepared in front of it.

The captain on a zodiac is coming to the beach
while we are sipping cocktails and champagne.

The restaurant manager and his staff prepared caviar on surfing boards.

And, wine stewards are also in the water serving champagne

 Water sports for everyone!
Kayak, boat and banana boat for some...

 How decadent is this!
It could only happen in dream...
We will never ever forget this moment!
Thank you Seabourn crew and staff.

Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam 22Mar14

It has been Phu My port whenever we visited
Ho Chi Minh city by cruise ship
where takes about 2 hours by bus.
But, Seabourn Sojourn is small enough to cruise
all the way to the city centre and dock on bank of Saigon river.
That gives us extra convenience and time saving.
We could walk to the city hall and Ben Thanh market.

 Docking

Ben Thanh market is always fun

Pho2000 is the restaurant just outside of the market
where Bill Clinton had lunch once.
We had beautiful spring roll and Pho soup.

Exotic tropical fruits displayed on the market

Coffee made from Civet dropping is here, too.
Smells divine but next time maybe.

complimentary shuttle bus took us to the city centre
